- August 1999 - Joined RK Mission run Vivekanand Hospital as a visiting consultant of the Eye department and introduced Phaco Surgery in the hospital.
- August 2002 – Established Department of Ophthalmology at SRM Institute of Medical Sciences, Bareilly, Established Bareilly Eye Bank In this hospital.
Since 2000 has been in the executive committee of Eye bank association of India and has held posts like member and chairperson, Central zone of India
Has been a pioneer in starting the eye banking activities in Lucknow since 1997. Has been ex chairperson Central zone eye bank association of India Hyderabad. Areas of interest include refractive surgeries cornea and lamellar transplant since 1997.
